Buffalo, NY, October 12, 1994 - WHAT Software, Inc announces that it is a
reseller of Intel, DEC, and Hewlett Packard 486 and Pentium based systems.
The systems that WHAT Software resells to the NeXT community have either
been certified by NeXT or are designated by NeXT as being compatible by a
third party with NEXTSTEP/FIP.

     "Two things make WHAT Software unique in the NeXTSTEP hardware market
place." says Kevin Kumpf, Marketing Director, "Organizations who are in need
of both on-site hardware support and NeXTSTEP technical support may receive
both from us."

     Following the specifications of each system is a description of the
standard and extended warranty from the manufacturer.

Digital Warranty
  PC's and their components (internal, mouse, keyboard) have a standard 3 year
  warranty with the first year being on-site, the remaining years being return
  to Digital. The return policy is 48 hour turnaround after receipt with the
  warranty covering labor and materials. This can be upgraded to 3 years
  on-site.

  Monitors come with a 1 year on-site warranty if purchased with a PC,
  if purchased separately it is a 1 year return to Digital.

WHAT Software is primarily engaged in developing NEXTSTEP based information
systems utilizing touch screen technology as the input device. Third party
developers engaged in a similar focus can obtain touch screen and PC
hardware from WHAT Software to complete their projects.

WHAT Software also provides certified and compatible Intel based hardware
systems so that organizations can run NEXTSTEP out of the box. Above average 
service warranties are available for organizations whose systems uptime is
a critical part of their business.
